Puzzld is a movement for peace, human rights, and a fairer world. These terms exist to protect that mission and everyone who is part of it.

Puzzld ("we", "us", "Puzzld") is a purpose-driven platform designed to facilitate democratic participation. We are registered as a social enterprise in England and Wales. We operate without advertising, without political affiliation, and without shareholders. Use of Puzzld is free and will always remain free.
By creating an account, joining the movement, submitting an issue, or adding your voice to an issue, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not use Puzzld.
Puzzld is open to anyone aged 16 or over. Users under 18 should ensure they have parental or guardian consent. By using Puzzld you confirm that you are using it in good faith and for the purposes of genuine democratic participation.
Puzzld exists to give people a voice. That mission depends on every participant treating others with dignity and respect. We operate a zero tolerance policy on the following:
The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal of content and permanent banning from Puzzld:
Puzzld is a platform for people who want to make the world better for everyone. Any attempt to use it to harm, exclude, or demean any person or group is a fundamental violation of what we stand for and will not be tolerated.
When you submit an issue to Puzzld you confirm that:
All submissions are moderated before publication. We reserve the right to reject, edit for clarity, or remove any submission that violates these terms. We do not edit the substance of submissions.
When you add your voice to an issue you are indicating your support for that issue being formally addressed by relevant authorities. Voice counts are used to determine which issues are submitted to government and other bodies. One person may add their voice to any number of issues, but may not add their voice to the same issue more than once. We use technical measures to prevent duplicate voting.
When you join Puzzld we collect your name (optional), email address, and country of residence. When you submit an issue we collect the content of your submission and your name or handle if provided.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights contact us at [email protected]. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
This part covers the form where you tell us what happened to you. Puzzld Ltd (company no. 16443756, England and Wales) is responsible for this information. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect. Your account of what happened, when, and which organisation was involved; your London borough and the first half of your postcode (never the full postcode); whether you complained and what evidence you hold; and, only if you choose to give it, your email address. You do not need an account or a name to use the form.
Why we collect it. To test accounts, find where the same thing is happening to many people, publish findings, put those findings to the organisations responsible, and design anything we build in response. We use your email only to check details of your account with you.
Our legal basis. Your consent, which you give on the last step of the form. Your account may include sensitive information, such as details about your health, immigration status or dealings with the police. We use that only with your explicit consent.
Who sees it. Only Puzzld reviewers. Accounts are not shown on the site and cannot be read by other users. We never publish your name, email, or details that could identify you. Findings are published as counts and patterns, and any quotation is edited so that it cannot identify you. Please do not name private individuals in your account.
Where it is kept. In a private database run for us by Supabase, our hosting provider, with access limited to Puzzld reviewers.
How long we keep it. We delete your email address within 12 months of the investigation closing. We keep the account itself, with nothing that identifies you, as the record behind the published finding.
Withdrawing. You can withdraw your account at any time before a finding is published by emailing [email protected]. After publication we can still delete your account and contact details, but published counts will not change.
Who can use the form. You must be 18 or over.
Puzzld is not an advice or emergency service. If you are in danger call 999. If you have nowhere to sleep tonight in London, contact your council's housing team or StreetLink.
Complaints. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Puzzld uses minimal cookies, only those necessary for Puzzld to function, such as remembering which issues you have supported. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.
The Puzzld name, logo, and brand identity are the intellectual property of Puzzld. Content submitted by people remains the property of the submitter, but by submitting you grant us a licence to use that content for the purposes of Puzzld's mission. You may not reproduce the Puzzld brand or content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Puzzld is provided as a free service in good faith. We make no guarantee that issues submitted will result in any specific government or institutional action. We are not liable for the content submitted by people, though we take all reasonable steps to moderate it. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of Puzzld.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify registered members of any significant changes by email. Continued use of Puzzld after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For any questions about these terms, to exercise your data rights, or to report a violation of our people standards, contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page.
